Students are also encouraged to conduct global research, especially as part of their graduate work.
One new international research project with the opportunity for student participation is being jointly sponsored with Mongolia University of Science and Technology on Management performance. Other current examples include a Maharishi Vedic Science PhD graduate student’s cross-cultural study of the effect of the TM program on empowering mothers, being conducted in Uganda and Nepal; another is a Media and Communication graduate’s video documentary on a Buddhist monastery in Thailand whose young nuns practice the TM program.
